Chimaera got the jump on us and left at noon to head down to Orlando. There were some changes to the itinerary for Day one. Paranoiabunny ended up leaving New York early and got a bus to Jacksonville rather than Orlando. Gambler and Twister headed over and picked them up then went down to Orlando by way of Daytona, FL. Once we got to Orlando we got checked in and contacted Chimaera to work out the details.

We got to Daytona too late to actually go into the Daytona USA attraction. However, Gambler and Twister have been in this attraction several times and highly recommend it to NASCAR fans.

Gambler Twister and Paranoiabunny went up to I-Drive (International Drive) and cruised through a few of the top attractions. Knowing paranoiabunny's son's interest in cars, we went to Race Rock Cafe to check out the BigFoot truck on exhibit there. Tonka monster truck was also on exhibit this day.

After visiting International Drive for a while, our group split up for the rest of the day. Chimaera, Gambler and Twister headed to Universal Studios as Paranoiabunny and son headed off for their own adventure.

On day three, we hooked back up as a group and went out to Lake Eola by way of Orange Blossom Trail and Church Street Station. Hung out there and had some ice creams then took off for a "Disney Adventure".

Our Disney Adventure was not the typical trip to the parks....We got past the Disney security by saying we were going there to visit someone staying at the Contemporary Hotel. When we got to security at the contemporary gate, we made up a guest name that we were going in to visit. They let us through so we went on in. The contemporary hotel is the one that has a monorail that passes through the lobby. We went upstairs to the 4th floor monorail station where we got a pressed penny, and caught the monorail once around the cycle stopping at: Transportation Hub, Polynesian village, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom and back to the contemporary, then rode it on to the transportation hub and switched monorail trains to the Epcot train. We rode that route twice and got off at Epcot the second time around to take some pictures. Then back onto the train to the Contemporary hotel where we made a hasty retreat off Disney property and back to our hotels. We got to see the fireworks at Epcot, and Magic Kingdom from the Monorail and saw the parade of lights on the water outside the Magic Kingdom.

Gambler, Twister and Paranoiabunny stopped of at Chimaeras hotel then headed back to Gambler and Twister's house. We stopped in Gainesville to let Paranoiabunny's son check out the Toys-R-Us and then went to the mall to let them experience American mall shopping. Then off to the house.
