Not really sure why we took this trip but what the heck. We up and drove to Orlando Florida this weekend. We stayed at the Comfort Inn at Cross Roads right near the entrance to Celebration Disney property. Friday night we just drove down, had dinner with Twisters parents in Ocala, FL at Sonny's restaurant. When we got to Orlando, we decided to stay down at Celebration rather than on International Drive for the easy access to Downtown Disney (DTD) and Disney's transportation complex. Saturday morning we got up and went to Sizzler restaurant for breakfast for the buffet. After breakfast we went over to Downtown Disney and looked around. After DTD we went back to the hotel to spend some time in the swimming pool. We ordered Brick Oven Pizzas. After pizza we went down to Hwy 192 and went to Old Town. Old Town basically an open air mall that is set up like a town from the 30's. There is a classic car show and drive every Saturday night. There are also several rides at Old Town. We have this thing we do sometimes we do when we are in Orlando. We use some tricks of the trade to get into Disney's Contemporary Resort (two security check points you have to get past) and get on the monorail to do some joy riding. This time we stopped by all of the resorts that the Monorail system stops at and took some pictures for the site. Usually we do this at just about dusk, that way we also get to watch the Fireworks show. We finally got back to the hotel at about 11:00pm. When we got back, we all showered and Gambler updated the site. Sunday morning we got up and packed up the hotel room then went down to check out. We went to the hotel restaurant for their breakfast buffet then headed home.
