On Memorial Day weekend 2000 we went to the Alligator Point KOA with Les and Joy Hall (Twister's Parents). We pulled into the campground at about 8:30 and set up. By the time we got done, we were in no mood to cook so we went across the Bay to the Oaks restaurant for dinner. Saturday morning we went over to Lanark to visit Scott's dad and take his boat out on its first trip after being repaired. It kind of sank to the bottom of the boat basin a few months ago. The ride was pretty rough and the boat got swamped so we decided not to go all the way to Dog Island, but it was still a fun ride.

Les and Joy don't stay in the cabins so they pulled their camper. On Sunday, we went across the bay to Angelo's Restaurant for dinner. The food was great as always. It was a great trip, and sadly our last trip to this KOA.
