Geno's Steaks in Philly is an institution. We have been known to plan trips around the opportunity to stop here and get a cheese steak sandwich. If you go here, and we recomend you do, dont rush to the front of the line, wait and watch a few locals order first. There is an art to ordering a philly. We went about 2 AM the first time (last picture) and there was a guy in line with us who asked us what we wanted and told us how to order it. You have to choose the type of cheese you want, either Provalone (PROVE) or cheesewiz (WIZ). If you say you want a Wiz With that means you are getting a Cheesesteak sandwich with Cheezewiz cheese add peppers and onions. You order at two seperate windows, one for your sandwich and another one for your side items and drinks.
