These images are of Carabelle
Florida and the surrounding communities including
Carabelle beach, and Lanark Beach. The photos
of the building that is falling down show what
was once the radar station of the World War II
Army Amphibious Landing base Camp Gordon Johnson.
Because this area was once an Army base there
is a possibility of live munitions in certain
areas. Those areas are marked with the signs in
the pictures. We have also included some candid
photo's of us on the beaches and catching live
blue crabs.
Carabelle is famous for having
the worlds smallest police station. The police
station is a phone booth. Be sure to get a post
card of the statoin.
