This was sort of a trial run to see how Amy Lee would handle a road trip. We are happy to say that she is a welcome addition to the team.

Twister and Gambler left on the first leg of the trip to pick up Chimaera. Just after hitting the road they spotted the Saturn Blimp. .

After meeting up with Chimaera and hooking up all of the equipment to Amy Lee, we hit the road again. We made the mandatory stop at Walmart to pick up the equipment we were lacking for this trip and off we went.

Ok, no one is quite clear why we had to stop and watch these cows for 10 minutes but it just sort of happened. Honestly we were quite lost at the time these pictures were taken. That is what happens when you try to drive without your GPS on I guess.

Florida has some beautiful hills, its not all just beaches and swamps. If you are heading to Torreya, get off I-10 at State road 12 and enjoy the scenery. This image is just after you get off the exit and onto SR-12. It is about a 18 mile drive from the interstate to the park.
